The more..., the more...
從句 主句
1. “the more..., the more...” 越......就越......
the 用在形容詞或副詞的比較級前，more 代表形容詞或副詞的比較級
例：
The more he gets, the more he wants.
2. “the more..., the more...”句型，主從句的時態常用一般現在時或一
般將來時。
例：
The higher the ground is, the thinner air becomes.
3. 若主句的謂語動詞用一般將來時，從句的謂語動詞要用一般現在
時表示將來。
例：
The harder you work, the greater progress you will make.
注意：
比較的部分（標紅的）屬于強調，寫句子時可以先按正常語序寫，然
后把比較的部分提前。
例： You work harder, you will make greater progress.
The harder you work, the greater progress you will make.
